This roomy and well-situated villa enjoys a breezy bay overlook and a top class household staff. An easy walk down to the beach or to the Zona Romantica is always an option but the temptation to linger in the large pool will be tough to overcome.

This villa was such an amazing experience! The villa itself is beautiful but the staff make it amazing! Blanca assisted with our our planning needs. The chef, Hector made us the best meals. We went out to dinner and we were all disappointed because it wasn’t Hector’s meals. Chicho was the best, he made sure our glasses were full with his tasty drinks. Naomi kept our rooms clean daily and Claudia assisted with it all! We all can’t stop talking about it! I am already wanting to plan another trip. Thanks to all for making my best friend’s bachelorette party unforgettable. Until we meet again!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Villa Mystique! The house was absolutely amazing with stunning views. We had a group of 9 people so we used 5 out of the 9 available bedrooms. The entire group really enjoyed our stay. The staff at the house was also amazing - our meals were wonderful and the service was great. We were all able to relax and have a great vacation. The concierge service that comes with the house was extremely helpful. I would highly recommend renting this place.

Girls trip 2021 did not disappoint. The home was beautiful. The house staff (Chef Hector, Chicho & Noemia) were THE BEST! Communication and working with Monse was great. The food was sooooooooo good. Let me get this out in the first sentence in case you don't have the attention span for this entire review - Book a stay here ASAP, this was hands down the best vacation of mine and my friends lives! Yes, the house was impeccably clean, well appointed, and even more stunning than the photos, however the staff is what took this stay to new heights. Blanca, our concierge ensured we had a swift arrival and seamless stay. She coordinated all of our excursions, booked any reservations, made sure we had all of our requested food and beverage items and even decorated a guests bedroom for a birthday surprise. She was truly a gem and clearly is passionate about giving exceptional service. Then there's Chicho who quite possible fell straight out of heaven. Not only did he make us drinks throughout the day (and there were many) but he helped in planning each meal, coordinated all transportation, and was our right hand man. He also treated us with homemade ceviche with a recipe from his hometown that was 10/10. Most importantly the chef was INCREDIBLE. We didn't even bother eating out after we realized the food he pumped out was 10x better than we could get in town. He made us amazing authentic Mexican food and one of the best steaks I've ever had hands down. Each morning we woke up to a beautiful breakfast spread with coffee and mimosas with fresh squeezed OJ, absolute heaven. The location of the house is great, a short drive to town with great nightlife and only a 20-30 min drive from the airport. I highly recommend asking your concierge to schedule on site COVID tests, it was affordable and a doctor came to the house, took all tests and we got results the next day. This made traveling back home much easier. I booked this stay with 10 close friends for a reunion and highly recommend you do the same. Great for families as well! Can't wait to come back!

We stayed at the Villa Mystique and it was a beautiful property with so many unique features. The view was breathtaking. Hector, Charley and Matilda were absolutely amazing and I will never forget their hospitality and genuine spirits. Thank you so much for a beautiful stay! Daniel, Monse, and Alejandro, as well as the other staff/transportation service, were so attentive. Every single guest had nothing but great things to say. Thank you so much for exceeding our expectations and making our stay such a beautiful experience! The view was impeccable, the house was clean and homey, the food by chef Daniel was beyond what we could fathom, and everyone raved how Alejandro always predicted our desires. The pool was warm and cleaned every day, with fresh towels. Any request we had in-house or outside (excursions) was always taken care of. They were all patient, kind, and made my celebration a trip of a lifetime.

We booked a vacation getaway at Villa Mystique for 7 nights and I can honestly say that it will be one of the trips we will never forget. The Villa itself is amaZing. The old Spanish style with contemporary finishes brings a special charm. The villa itself is huge and the infinity pools with the ocean views are amazing. I cannot day enough about how amazing the staff is. Doria is the most amazing chef that cooked for our party of 19 every day. She can whip up all the best Mexican dishes with a home cooked flavor. As the house manager, Joel was always there when we needed him and added so much fun and humor. The other house staff also did an amazing job keeping the rooms tidy and the grounds clean. The concierge was very responsive and helpful with any requests. All my guests were blown away by the level of care that we received and we would not hesitate to rebook in the future.

After researching properties in Puerto Vallarta and other cities in Mexico, I decided to spend my 40th birthday with my husband and 14 of my closest friends at Villa Mystique. Wow am I glad we did. The house and the staff exceeded all expectation. The house was the perfect layout for 8 couples. Each room has a private bathroom and either a king or queen bed. The staff cleaned the bathrooms and made our beds every afternoon, which may seem excessive, but trust me, it was a really nice touch. Doria and Joel were there daily to ensure we had everything we needed. Doria is an amazing chef. Every meal was exceptional and they did a wonderful job accommodating for 16 "big eaters". One of my favorite parts of the trip was waking up to a warm sun and sitting at the table, large enough for us each to have a seat and eating a delicious breakfast. We celebrated my birthday with a pool party. Joel decorated the house with balloons and streamers and Laura, our concierge helped my husband surprise me with a DJ. Again, it may seem unnecessary, but it absolutely made for an AWESOME birthday. The house is in a great location. The neighborhood feels safe plus there's the added safety of a metal gate on the front door. The beach is about a 10-15 minute walk down the hill and the Malecon is about a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute taxi ride. Honestly, the worst part was leaving. I wish we would have had more time.

AMAZING!! AMAZING!! AMAZING!! A group of 13 of us spent a week at Villa Mystique celebrating a 40th birthday for one of our friends. We felt welcomed the moment we walked through the door where we were greeted with frozen margaritas and home made salsa and guacamole. We LOVED the villa staff (Joel, Doria, Martha and Carlos)! They took great care of us throughout the entire week. There were plenty of menu options for breakfast and dinner and all of Doria's meals were delicious (we especially loved the fresh fruit every morning and the guacamole and fresh salsa with every meal). The villa was roomy and there were plenty of areas for us to congregate. The staff kept the villa super clean throughout the week. We enjoyed watching the sunset every night from the 2nd floor balcony area. The villa was about a 15 minute walk down to the main area of town - although we walked down a few times, the walk up was relatively steep and we did Uber back up most of the times (although the Uber ride was super cheap - between $1.50 and $3.00). We recently stayed at Villa Mystique for my birthday. We had mostly all adults and a child with us. The care and detail that went into our stay far over exceeded our expectations. Carla, our concierge took care of arranging pickups, reservations, ideas of fun activities and everyone we interacted with was prompt and professional. Doria & Joel took care of our every wish during our stay and cooked delicious meals for us accommodating our child’s request. If there was something we wanted from the store, Joel would take care of it with lightning speed. They wanted to take care of our every wish and ensure we were having a great time. Carlos kept the pool sparkling and Martha kept our rooms clean as well. Overall, I can’t recommend this place enough. The views, the comfortable rooms and the staff are incredible. My only concern now is when I can come back :)

Larissa was very prompt and pleasant to deal with. Joel was super fun and so enjoyable to have around. Daria was cute, we referred to her as Mama, and her cooking was soo yummy! Everyone was very happy with the food and service beyond happy. Larissa was a class act and everything was very organized for our arrival, stay, menu choices, drinks, and our departure. The location is amazing and so affordable to get Ubers into all the action of PV.  I couldn’t have asked for anything more to celebrate my 40th. Villa Mystique could not have been better.  Everyone enjoyed the "villa" experience.  The trip was made even better because of the care and attention that the staff gave each one of us.  I will be glad to recommend the villa to anyone.  The walk to the beach was not easy either way but there are taxis always available.  The food was terrific and Doria was always there for the special orders.  Joel could not have been better as the house manager.

My friends and I stayed at the villa from October 6-13 and it was incredible. I fell in love with PV the last time I was there, but this stay was unbelievable! The property is a true gem. The villa staff, Doria and Joel felt like the fun Aunt and Uncle by the end of the week. They were incredible and did an excellent job taking care of us. Can we take them with us for every vacation? Our family of 18 people from age 3 to 74 thoroughly enjoyed a special vacation at the villa. Joel and Doria became like family to us catering to all our needs. From terrace dancing to swimming it was all memorable.  Agave Villas worked hard to accommodate a last minute change and did a great job.

I celebrated my 50th b-day here with a group of 20. Doria and Joel (the staff at the house) were fantastic and really took care of us - from truly amazing meals to top-notch service to decorating the house for my b-day party! The location is perfect and feels secluded and private, but close enough to town for quick trips in ($3 Uber fare). Our entire experience was perfect. The villa was amazing. It was clean and beautiful. Joel was the best and made sure we had everything we could have possibly needed or asked for. He went above and beyond what i would have expected from anyone working at a villa. Doria’s cooking made all of us feel warm and at home and we’re all sad to come home and have to cook for ourselves. Between Erika and Carlos, the rooms and facilities were always in the best conditions. They were all welcoming and friendly and my entire group had the most fun. The views were spectacular and being at the location we were gave us a real sense of being away from any of the stresses of our everyday lives. We totally recommend it.

We had an amazing time there, Chuy ( the chef) did incredible job, Yoel( the bartender) was super great, super friendly staff, Carlos clean the pool every morning smiling and respectfully talking with us. Super clean.

Perfect view, the best, sunset exactly in front of the infinity pool, couldn’t better location!!

The only thing i would like to suggest is a little bit more Mexican decoration to feel more the spirit of there!!

Breathtaking views, luxury comfort, outstanding meals, highest level of customer service, and feeling fantastically spoiled are just some of the experiences you will have while visiting Villa Mystique. Upon arrival Maria, our personal concierge, warmly welcomed us with a hug and toured us through the property which has been recently renovated and thoughtfully decorated. The views, especially the sunsets, are spectacular from every spot in the Villa. While the beauty of the property pulls you in, the Villa Mystique staff will make you want to stay forever. The Agave Villas Reservations staff, Stephanie and Larissa, were so helpful and prompt answering questions prior to us booking our stay. Maria was instrumental in helping us plan ahead for our trip once we did book. She helped with our grocery lists, answering questions and made sure everything was ready for us upon arrival. She was also in contact with us during our stay to answer questions or plan anything we wished. The Villa staff provided a level of customer service rarely found at even the most exclusive resorts. Joel, Mary, Martha, and Carlos felt like family at the end of our trip. They were welcoming, kind, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, hard working, happy, and worked great as a team. Joel, house manager, arrived early every morning before we woke around 6:00-6:30am and didn’t leave until late evening, sometimes 8:00-9:30pm. He worked so hard and made sure we wanted for nothing. He was very knowledgeable about the area and was able to answer any of our questions. He makes a seriously delicious Margarita! Mary, the chef, kept our belly’s fat and happy everyday. She is truly talented at her craft. We still crave her meals! Afternoons are not the same without her quesadillas and guacamole. She worked so hard in the kitchen everyday, making all our meals from scratch, including all the sauces and salsas. Everything she made was fresh and outstanding. She was also very thoughtful about repurposing leftovers so we wouldn’t waste food which also helped us save money. We had a few people with food allergies and she was able to accommodate everyone’s needs. Martha, housekeeper, kept the house spotless. She cleaned our rooms every morning and was so quick about it. Carlos, maintained the property, he cleaned the pool every morning and I think he could fix just about anything. Bottom line, if you’re on the fence about booking this property, do yourself a favor, do it! It will not disappoint.

Breathtaking view home + warm and welcoming staff = the perfect vacation for a large group of friends or family! We stayed at the villa four nights and five days and each day and evening Joel made sure each guest was comfortable, and he would go above and beyond if the smallest item were not in the house. Joel would not hesitate and go right out and pick up whatever item was needed! He also crafted up some great snacks if anyone was hungry and who can forget the splendid margaritas on the ready whenever someone wanted a drink! Sarah, our cook, was by far one of the best personal chefs we had experienced! Her food was custom catered for everyone's needs and was EXCELLENT. On the first night, she had chicken enchiladas ready, and they were better than going to a local restaurant! The house is an indoor/outdoor paradise and ideal for gathering with friends. Our group came from all around the world, and it was so nice to have such open space so we could all catch up. The pool water was the perfect temperature for the warm weather we experienced. The location was prime, although not an easy walk, we did walk down the hill and took a beach bath Downtown. Uber was very easy! It would only cost about $3 USD to get right to the heat of the Downtown area. I would HIGHLY recommend this property and the excellent staff.

This was the most amazing villa! We will be back next time we are in PV. The staff was amazing, the house is beautiful. the pictures don't do it justice. The beds were so comfortable and all the linens and towels were new and plush. Chuy's food was the very best thing and we ended up staying in more than we thought we would to eat her delicious meals. Everything was just perfect!!!

This property truly exceeded not only our expectations but the info/photos on line also. One of the finest, if not THE finest, large luxury estate we have ever visited. This is a very difficult review to write simply because each aspect of the property, views and service were top drawer. The appointments in each room and bath were first class; the common areas/meeting nitches were beautiful and matched perfectly throughout. The outdoor eating location and pool area were stunning and and the views from anywhere throughout the villa were incredible. Activities, including the beach were easy to get to, but because of the steep incline to the property which afforded those grand views I recommend using local taxis and buses. Very convenient to DT Puerto Vallarta yet beaches, fishing, kayaking, etc were all nearby. I saved for last the STAFF. They simply cater to your every need. The food and drink prepared according to our requests were outstanding; the rooms and pool were meticulously cleaned every day. You can not go wrong selecting this property for your family/friends vacation.

My new wife and I stayed at this property for a week earlier this month, where we celebrated our honeymoon, and I must say that it left us in awe.  We arrived late at night, after the sun had set, but waking up at sunrise the next morning showcased my favorite quality of this villa - its view. It looks out directly onto the Pacific, with Los Arcos visible in the distance, and it's just absolutely spectacular. I would recommend staying here for the view alone. However, that is not to say that the rest of the stay didn't measure up - it did, in every regard. The location is a short taxi or Uber ride from town, but it's also manageable to walk into Puerto Vallarta if you're up for it. My wife and I took the walk down a couple of times, and it never felt too difficult, though getting a ride back up is almost essential - luckily it's cheap.  The rooms are massive and comfortable - the bed is perfect. After snorkeling and hiking and swimming in the ocean all day, it was amazing coming home to such a big, soft bed every night. I slept better there than I do at home, by a country mile.  The staff was also exceptional. The chef - Gille - made us some truly amazing meals, and was always happy to help with anything we asked about. Plus, she makes a mean margarita. And Carlos, the groundskeeper/maintenance man, was also great. The entire staff on-site was extremely helpful and a pleasure to have around, and Carla - the concierge - was equally helpful in coordinating our arrival, as well as several activities that we got up to throughout the week. She's extremely attentive and lightning-fast with WhatsApp. We felt like VIPs the whole week. All in all, it was a wonderful stay, and we hope to return someday soon! We can't recommend this place enough!

Wonderful place!! Villa Mystique is a grand house with marvelous views of the ocean. Sunsets were spectacular. The staff headed by Joel provided delicious meals and knowledge of the area. Mystique is clean and beautifully furnished and has a great infinity pool. I would recommend the property to anyone. Can't wait for a return trip to PV.
